Κοροναϊός: Saint Laurent και Gucci παράγουν μάσκες στα ατελιέ τους

Οι γαλλικοί οίκοι μόδας Saint Laurent και Balenciaga και ο ιταλικός Gucci θα αρχίσουν να κατασκευάζουν μάσκες προκειμένου να καλύψουν την έλλειψη, μεσούσης της εξάπλωσης της πανδημίας του κοροναϊού, ανακοίνωσε ο όμιλος Kering.

«Τα γαλλικά ατελιέ των οίκων Balenciaga και Yves Saint Laurent ετοιμάζονται για την κατασκευή μασκών, βάσει των πιο αυστηρών μέτρων υγειονομικής προστασίας για τους συνεργάτες τους, μόλις οι διαδικασίες παραγωγής και τα υλικά θα εγκριθούν από τις αρμόδιες αρχές», δήλωσε ο όμιλος ειδών πολυτελείας Kering στον οποίο ανήκουν οι δύο οίκοι.

Σύμφωνα με την σχετική ανακοίνωση, ο όμιλος Kering θα στείλει εντός των προσεχών ημερών στις γαλλικές υπηρεσίες υγείας, τρία εκατομμύρια χειρουργικές μάσκες που ο όμιλος θα προμηθευτεί στην Κίνα και θα φροντίσει για την μεταφορά τους στη Γαλλία.

Ο οίκος Gucci, ιταλική θυγατρική του Kering, δεσμεύτηκε να κατασκευάσει 1,1 εκατομμύριο χειρουργικές μάσκες και 55.000 μπλούζες για το νοσηλευτικό προσωπικό στην Ιταλία, την πλέον πληγείσα χώρα από την πανδημία.

Kering contributes to the fight against Covid-19. 3/3 All these contributions follow those already made in China and Italy in recent weeks. On March 11 in Italy, Kering and its Houses made donations to the four major foundation hospitals in Lombardy, Veneto, Tuscany and Lazio. More recently, @gucci responded to a call to fashion companies from the Regione Toscana for surgical masks and medical overalls, and could be able to donate 1.100.000 surgical masks and 55.000 medical overalls in the coming weeks, subject to relevant authorizations. On January 28 in China, Kering and its Houses announced a donation to the Hubei Red Cross Foundation to help fight the spread of the virus.

Επίσης, ο Kering ανακοίνωσε ότι έκανε μια οικονομική δωρεά, χωρίς να αναφέρει το ποσό, στο ινστιτούτο Παστέρ για να στηρίξει την έρευνα για τον κοροναϊό.

Υπενθυμίζεται ότι ο μεγάλος ανταγωνιστής του ομίλου Kering, ο όμιλος ειδών πολυτελείας LVMH, άρχισε πριν από μια εβδομάδα την παρασκευή μεγάλης ποσότητας υδροαλκοολικού τζελ για τα νοσοκομεία σε τρεις από τις εγκαταστάσεις παραγωγής του στη Γαλλία, όπου συνήθως παρασκευάζει τα αρώματα και τα καλλυντικά του,για τους οίκους Dior, Guerlain και Givenchy.
